QZAB Funds for K-12 School Districts




The National Education Foundation (NEF) wishes to engage in a conversation with state budget officers interested in assisting school districts to acquire $1.0 billion in funding set aside for Qualified Zone Academy Bonds (QZAB) for K-12 school districts. These funds can be used for renovation, energy efficiency, technology, curriculum and professional development.  At the request of the U.S. Government, NEF, a national nonprofit organization that provides online education to students and jobseekers in the U.S. and abroad, has agreed to help QZAB-eligible school districts meet the following two QZAB federal law mandates:

(1) 10% Match donation:  in terms of 6,000 STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), English, Social Studies, SAT/ACT, IT and Business courses including Pearson SuccessMaker and NovaNET, ranked at the top by the U.S. Department of Education. as well as 60 IT, business and management certification courses

(2) QZAB academy directed by SUNY- State University of NY and a local university:  Total Solution services include Individualized learning, Stipends for teachers and director (ISLMMTT), LMS, Mentoring, Motivational rewards, Teacher training, and Tech support.
