Last week, White House deputy press secretary Josh Earnest stated that President Obama will release his fiscal 2014 budget request on Wednesday, April 10. The request was officially due by the first Monday in February; the federal Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has attributed the two-month delay to the uncertainties surrounding fiscal cliff negotiations and sequestration.
