us in Little Rock for our 2008 Spring Meeting. Meeting sessions
will cover the economy, state credit issues, trends in corrections,
health care innovations, and more.
Events will be held
at the William J. Clinton Presidential Library and Museum as well
as a trip to Oaklawn Park Racecourse in Hot Springs for the Arkansas
Derby.
Little Rock is easily accessible from three
interstate highways and also has more than 90 daily airport arrivals
and departures. The city's historical attractions include:
Central High School National Historic Site & Museum, William
J. Clinton Presidential Library, the Old State House Museum, and
the Old Mill, famous for the opening scene in the movie, "Gone
With The Wind".
Also home to the Arkansas Art Center, Heifer International
Center, and Aerospace Education Center/IMAX Theater - Little Rock
has something to offer every visitor.

Registration
Information
The registration fee
for members (all state budget office employees) is $200. The registration
fee for non-member/non-profit/federal government participants is $300.
The registration deadline is Thursday, March 20. Registration
is now closed.
The deadline to cancel registrations without penalty is Thursday, March

Please reserve your room(s) by calling 800-PEABODY (732-2639)
for the NASBO rate of $125/single or $135/double occupancy (plus 15.5%
tax). You must identify yourself with NASBO when making your reservation.
The hotel will offer NASBO's group rate three days before and after
the meeting, based on availability. Reservations
must be cancelled 24 hours prior to arrival to avoid a cancellation
fee. Hotel check-in is 3 p.m. and checkout is noon.
