Fall Meeting Focusing on Federal Issues Affecting States

Program

The Fall Meeting provides budget officers and staff updates on federal issues affecting the states as well as a chance for idea-sharing and discussion prior to budget development. Sessions at this meeting typically include an economic update, review of federal legislative developments and other timely topics.

 

Registration

NASBO Members

The registration fee for NASBO members (all employees in the Governor's budget office) is $200. NASBO is providing some travel assistance to member states. For more information, contact Lauren Cummings (202-624-8434 or lcummings@nasbo.org).

Representatives from the Federal Government, State Agencies, Associations, Educational Institutions, and Non-Profits

NASBO encourages meeting attendance from other entities with interest in state budget issues. The registration fee is a low $300.

Employees of Private Sector Corporations

Please reserve your room(s) by calling (800) 368-5047. NASBO has confirmed a special group rate of $189 single or double occupancy which is well below per diem (plus 11.5% tax and a $1.00 occupancy tax).

In order to get the group rate, you must identify yourself with the “2013 NASBO Fall Meeting.” Reservations must be cancelled 24 hours prior to arrival in order to avoid a cancellation fee equal to one night’s room rate.
