Lauren Cummings is Director of Member Relations & Conferences for the National Association of State Budget Officers (NASBO) in Washington, D.C. In this position, Cummings is responsible for membership services and communication, meetings and trainings, corporate sponsorships, office management and technology. Prior to joining NASBO, Cummings was a Special Assistant in the Virginia Governor’s Office of Substance Abuse Prevention where she assisted with state grants and managed a youth substance abuse prevention conference. Cummings received a B.S. in Sociology from the College of Charleston in South Carolina.
